Kohutt Co

We are a design workshop and boutique manufacturer located in Tasmania, Australia, established by Nick Jaffe in 2015. Their focus lies in crafting durable, minimalist, and quality-driven designs with meticulous attention to detail, employing only the finest materials and exceptional workmanship.
Nick Jaffe has journeyed to some of the most isolated islands on Earth, spent countless days at sea, completed solo crossings of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, crossed Bass Strait in an open boat alone, visited numerous countries, traversed Australia by road, navigated deserts, and embarked on an African adventure with his Land Rover in an attempt to circumnavigate the globe (only to be thwarted by the pandemic).
With a background in fine art, design, and photography, Nick developed a fascination for industrial textiles and sewing while repairing sails and canvas aboard his sailing boats—Constellation, Harmony, Euphoria, and Huia.
